SCRUM MASTER
Who is a Scrum Master?


The Scrum Master drives transformational change by advocating the Agile/Scrum values, principles, and practices, modeling agile behaviors and mindset, and acting as a 'servant leader' towards ensuring that consistent processes and procedures are followed across assigned Product Teams.


NOTE:
2 openings, 1 for Digital Experience and the other for Technology and Innovation.

What will you be doing?

  • Develops and maintains Agile processes & procedures across assigned development teams, based on industry practices, towards mitigating program risks, optimizing resources and program effectiveness, and ensuring that delivery commitments are met consistently and are aligned with targeted program outcomes.
  • Coaches team members on continuous process improvements and goals, ensuring the achievement of excellent results whilst building and nurturing a trusting and safe environment.
  • Establishes team level cadence and helps drive team level ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, team retrospectives, backlog grooming, etc.) in alignment with established program level cadences.
  • Tracks and communicates team velocity, burndown, sprint/release progress, and other team metrics to further facilitate resource and process optimization.
  • Assists Product Owners in managing the product development process, based on direction from the T&I leadership team, in order to ensure development teams are succinctly working towards organizational goals and priorities.
  • Supports with managing product backlog, product scope, vendor and stakeholder communication and coordination, as well as uncovering and removing impediments for the development teams.
  • Liaises between the business stakeholders and development teams to ensure user stories/acceptance criteria is clearly defined and understood.
  • Assists in reporting project progress to project sponsors and executive management.
  • Manages the creation and maintenance of quality documentation (including but not limited to workflows, user stories, Definition of Done, Acceptance Criteria, and backlog item requirements) by collaborating with development teams, in order to support operations teams with easy to understand, concise product information, and aid in minimizing technical debt for the organization.
  • Supports with enhancing the quality of products and services by analyzing data to inform business decisions, monitor product performance, and finding technological solutions to business needs.
  • Supports with the development of product strategy to further drive the technological innovation of the company, and helps define product roadmaps based on an integrated understanding of customer behavior, company strategy, and anticipated market trends.
Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma
  • 2 years on an Agile Product team, in any capacity
  • Any of the following:
  • Agile Coaching Certification (CSC, ICP-ACC)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
  • ICAgile Certified Professional/Expert/Master
  • Lean Methodology Certifications
  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Professional Scrum Master level I (PSM I)
  • SAFe Certification(s)
