***The Receptionist is responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and assisting with various office and clerical tasks. They will ensure efficient communication within the organization and maintain a professional image. The Receptionist reports to the Branch Manager.

  • Greet visitors and determine their needs, notifying the appropriate party accordingly.
  • Answer incoming calls on a multiline phone system and transfer them to the appropriate employee.
  • Issue safety glasses and name tags to visitors as required.
  • Update the staff directory to ensure accurate and uptodate contact information.
  • Type memos, letters, quotes, and assist with other projects as needed.
  • Assist with mailroom duties, including handling incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Support data entry tasks related to sales and warranties as assigned.
  • Perform various administrative tasks such as invoicing, tax certificate maintenance, invoice register, reports, filing, sorting/distributing faxes, and ordering office supplies.
  • Adhere to any other duties as required by the organization.

KNOW HOW & EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of work experience as a receptionist.
  • Excellent verbal communication, computer, and social skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional image and provide exceptional customer service.
