Position Summary
This opportunity is a 6 months contract with possibility for an extension.


What will I do?

  • Support the human resources department in its activities and in the development, design, implementation, maintenance and administration of human resources processes, policies, programs and projects (i.e. job descriptions, performance improvement process, onboarding, offboarding, employee handbook, etc.).
  • Provide talent acquisition partnership to hiring managers, with fullcycle talent acquisition needs (e.g. job postings, needs assessment, sourcing, resume review, interview process, training, etc.), while partnering with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. agencies) to successfully fill the vacant and upcoming positions.
  • Support in the development, design and execution on learning & development strategy, initiatives and programs.
  • Provide assistance with employee engagement initiatives and support the employee resource groups.
  • Work on auditing, building and documenting human resources process that are scalable for TTCPP.
  • Lead with diversity, equity and inclusion best practices in creating programs, policies and supporting human resources matters.
  • Actively build strong working relationships with employees and managers, to provide support on human resources matters.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What will help me be successful?

Skills & Qualifications

  • Postsecondary education in a recognized technical, vocational or academic program, such as human resources, business administration or equivalent direct work experience.
  • 3+ years of related work experience in the human resources field, working as a human resources generalist, talent acquisition partner, human resources business partner or an active position in the execution of human resources and talent acquisition activities.
  • Understanding of human resources trends, case law, and legislation (e.g. Human Rights Code, Occupational Health and Safety, Employment Standards Act).
  • Understanding the importance of best practices for process documentation, employee lifecycle, job descriptions, onboarding, employee engagement, performance reviews, etc.
  • Experience using an HRIS and ATS (i.e. ADP Workforce Now), various job boards/platforms (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.) and sourcing best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suites (i.e. Excel, Word), PowerPoint, Teams, or similar office tools
