Warehouse Receiver

Alliance Door Products of
St. Thomas, ON has an immediate opening for an experienced
Warehouse Receiver. In this role you will unload all vendor shipments and customer returns, inspect, and verify all incoming product and supplies, collaborate and communicate with purchasing department on any concerns relating to product received or stored, scan product and ensure all inventory is organized and put away in a timely manner.

This position works
Monday to Friday from
7:30am to 4:00pm. The hourly rate is dependent on experience.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A PRODUCTION WORKER

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more years of warehouse receiving experience
  • Experienced and proficient on both counterbalance forklifts and standup reach trucks (up to 5000 lbs.) with an ability to maneuver product in a narrow aisle environment with confidence
  • Comfortable with small power tools, pneumatic tools and vinyl tools
  • Able to confidently load and unload both flat deck and closed trailers
  • A basic mathematical aptitude and understanding of imperial measurements to the 1/32 of an inch
  • Physical ability to frequently and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
