WHAT WILL YOU DO AS OUR JDE BUSINESS ANALYST?


As our JDE Business Analyst, you will coordinate the development and documentation of consolidated Door Group standard operating procedures, broadly for distribution through manufacturing practices in JDE.

The role will drive the implementation of these standards while working as a part of the various JDE implementation and production support project teams.


YOU WILL ALSO:


  • Lead our Door Group initiative to implement consolidated and consistent standard operating procedures in JDE.
  • Work with and provide support to local business resources and external consultants assigned to specific project teams.
  • Provide functional support for prototyping, development, and end user testing, while assisting with user training.
  • Participate as required in the analysis of business requirements and the development of specifications.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the business processes supported by the JDE solution.
  • Research special topics as required as part of team or project responsibilities.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Other responsibilities as required

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:


  • 4 years of Business Analyst experience
  • College or Graduate degree in Business, Technology, Analytics, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of and curiosity to learn various JD Edwards modules from distribution to manufacturing.
  • The ability to gather requirements from various users, write specifications that can be used by developers, test results and communicate changes to users.
  • Functional expertise with production support in JD Edwards ERPsoftware implementations.

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:

  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills; customer focused and a team player.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fastpaced environment; ability to stay focused on responsibilities and meet deadlines; must perform in a high exposure, dynamic, and timesensitive environment and be able to lead change.
  • Ability to present ideas in business friendly and userfriendly language; demonstrated aptitude for working with, supporting, and communicating with users.
  • Position may require occasional travel, varying from 025% within the continental US and Canada.
  • Exposure to and/or experience with highly configured product, in an engineered to order environment.
  • Some background and understanding of operational processes in a manufacturing environment.
  • Has or able to quickly acquire construction industry and product knowledge.
  • A background in lean manufacturing and an understanding of the lean toolsets and processes that drive efficiency and profitability.
  • Excellent English language skills, and ability to communicate effectively in various mediums.
  • Experience with using MS SQL; ability to write SQL queries.
  • Exposure to DSI dcLINK data collection, Gentran EDI Software, SAP Business Objects, Docpath / JetForms forms printing, imaging systems (TransformAP), and credit card collection systems.

  • Manufacturing/industrial environment; some dust and noise
  • Ability to navigate through the manufacturing facility on an occasional basis (155,000 sq ft)
