Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design secure network architectures that meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure security architecture frameworks, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance across all network projects.
  • Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in existing network security infrastructure, Extended Detection and response, DDOS, network detection and response etc. and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
  • Design and implement security controls and measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats.
  • Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and solutions to enhance the security posture of our network infrastructure.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering and operations teams in implementing network security best practices and standards.
  • Stay current with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, and assess their potential impact on our network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to leverage their expertise and resources in enhancing our network security capabilities.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure security architecture or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP stack, routing, and switching technologies.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing security solutions for complex network environments.
  • Deep knowledge of security principles, standards, and best practices, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
  • Handson experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and Network Access controls, Secure service edge solutions Palo Alto, Forescout, Secure Link, Extended detection and response solutionsCrowdstrike, Microsoft Defender, Palo Alto Cortex XDR, Network Detection and response solutionsDarktrace, Vectra, Graylog, DDOS/antibot solutionsCloudflare.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or CCIE Security are preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
