Description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Category Management Specialist on a temporary 12-month basis on our Home and Building Solutions team.

This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, SK.

If you enjoy developing category plans using category analytics for local Co-ops and making recommendations on product assortments in a timely manner, then this is the right opportunity for you

What you'll do:

You will assist Category Managers with category reviews and product assortment planning to maximize category growth.
You will introduce new products, planograms, and innovative merchandising by utilizing business intelligence tools.
You will provide analysis on potential growth categories using market intelligence and internal data to meet business objectives driven by KPIs and annual goals.
You will create and execute pricing strategies to remain competitive, maximize margins and provide analysis on targeted categories.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Sales & Marketing and:

You have
3 years of relevant experience. Retail experience with a preference for home and building would be an asset (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
You have

a University Degree in Marketing or General Business.
