    Field Systems:

     The Trimble Field Systems segment provides solutions to increase precision and productivity in construction tasks by empowering stakeholders to collect accurate information and manage conditions with cutting-edge technology

    In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing safety-critical geonavigation platforms, directly influencing the resilience of cyber-physical models and shaping the future of autonomous positioning technology


    Key Exciting Responsibilities:

     Develop and deploy robust, Python-based frameworks to automate complex testing and improve global V&V efficiency.
    • Lead high-impact dynamic testing protocols, including in-vehicle validation and testing on specialized hardware like latency jigs.
    • Apply advanced falsification testing to uncover rare timing faults and improve the resilience of safety-critical control loops.
    • Spearhead system-level debugging and root-cause analysis using lab instrumentation like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
    • Collaborate across multidisciplinary Firmware and Navigation teams to triage field issues and verify major system releases.

    Essential Skills & Experience:

     You hold a B.Eng. or M.Eng. in Mechatronics, Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering.
    • You have hands-on experience validating embedded firmware and automation systems.
    • You possess expert proficiency in Python for scripting and building automated test frameworks.
    • You have a strong working knowledge of C/C++ and familiarity with GNSS or inertial sensor technology.
    • You are proficient with professional tools including Git, Linux, Jira, and lab instrumentation.

    Bonus Points For:

     Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow, or HiL/SiL environments, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
