Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team.

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a deep understanding of supply chain management.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery
Source and evaluate potential suppliers/vendors based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities
Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers/vendors to ensure favorable pricing and service level agreements
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance on procurement best practices
Monitor supplier/vendor performance and address any issues or concerns that may arise
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier/vendor information
Utilize internal systems to manage inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials
Stay uptodate with industry trends and market conditions to identify potential costsaving opportunities
Conduct regular market research to identify new suppliers/vendors and assess their capabilities

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, including sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation
Proficient in using Microsoft Suite and Quickbooks
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing from suppliers/vendors
Detailoriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary:
$44,291.56-$86,262.73 per year
