Admin Support Associate, Full-Time
Come and join the administrative team at Intellectual Disability Society (IDS) IDS is a mid-sized, non-profit organization that provides a variety of residential, community and employment services supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Under the direction of the Office Manager, the Admin Assistant is responsible for providing a wide range of office support tasks that facilitate the efficient functioning of IDS.
Key Responsibilities
- Opens/closes head office, responds to the doorbell, greets visitors, accepts deliveries, answers general inquiries and routes phone calls.
- Assist with maintenance of our client data management system
- Share Vision
- Prepares monthly callin list (Casual, Parttime, etc.) for all unionized programs.
- Reconciles residential services worksites' grocery receipts and petty cash.
- Prepares orders for PPE supplies as requested by Residential Services Program Managers and maintains inventory.
- Keeps abreast of all updated and new services within the organization.
- Handles mail distribution.
- Ensures that each person we serve has their right to privacy and confidentiality respected.
- Actively practice the Values, Beliefs, and Future Directions of IDS in an ethical, caring, and professional manner.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Office Manager.
Education, Training and Experience:
- minimum of two years providing administrative support in an office environment
- demonstrated computer proficiency on a variety of platforms
- experience in the social services sector would be an asset
- experience with ShareVision would be an asset
Pre-Requisites:
- Criminal Record Check (vulnerable sector)
- Medical Fit to Work form
- Tuberculosis Clearance
- First aid certificate
- Fully vaccinated for COVID 19 (Government Health requirement)
- Satisfactory Reference Checks
- Successful completion of IDS orientation Hours of Work: 8:30 am 4:30 pm Monday to Friday

$22.00-$23.00 per hour
