Position Overview

The Inventory Specialist reports to the Director of Operations while collaborating directly with the Supply Chain Manager, Manufacturing, QA, Development and Sales teams.

This role will work out of a facility in central Edmonton. This is a full-time, permanent position. Within the laboratory and refinery production schedule constraints, there is an opportunity for flexible working hours.

Full Job Description

Token Naturals is hiring experienced Inventory Specialist to support the manufacturing of a range of cannabis products.

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining an accurate physical and electronic inventory system for both cannabis and non-cannabis supplies to support Token's manufacturing operations.

The Inventory Specialist will work in partnership with other supply chain functions including purchasing and shipping & receiving, production, and accounting teams.

The Inventory Specialist will diligently follow all Inventory Management, Shipping and Receiving, and facility related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comply with all company policies and Health Canada regulatory requirements.

The Inventory Specialist brings to Token a proven track record of setting and meeting ambitious goals.


Responsibilities:

• Track physical inventory to review pick lists, for work orders
• Review shipping documents to ensure correct lot and quantities
• Retrieve & track cannabis & noncannabis materials from secure storage vault for production work orders
• Responsible for ERP Inventory data entry & communication
• Participate in monthly cycle counts and yearend inventory counts
• Participate in investigation of any stock discrepancies
• Provide coverage for shipping and receiving function during vacation and/or absence
• Work with procurement team to coordinate shipping & receiving of cannabis & noncannabis materials
• Assist with various other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Inventory Management: 3 years (preferred)
Supply Chain Cannabis: 1 years (preferred)

• Warehouse: 3 years (preferred)
• Cannabis: 3 years (preferred)

Required Skills:

• Supply Chain Management in Cannabis
• Inventory Management or significant handson experience demonstrated through increasing supply chain and/or inventory management responsibilities throughout career.
• ERP experience (1 year minimum)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Highly skilled with Excel
• Interest in building a career in the cannabis industry.
• Must be able to work in the facility.
• Has their own transportation, or a reliable carpool.
• Can physically work/maneuver in tight spaces and from heights.
• Can physically handle container of materials up to 25 kg

• Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
• Gets along well in a team atmosphere and can work independently when required.
• Ability to multitask and swiftly switch between tasks.
• Available to work overtime when required.
