Are you passionate about helping our customers fulfill their home financing dreams? This role is responsible to develop and maintain B2B relationships with residential construction firms within an assigned geographic area.

The role will identify and build relationships with construction firms, assess site viability, onboard individual builder sites, partner with local VPMS and branch leaders to create pre-construction sales plans, maintain regular contact with the builder throughout construction and organize MS/branch staff for closing activities.

The role is accountable for site management, marketing, and coordinating with regional resources for fulfillment on site close.


The Regional Builder Partnership Manager is a leader in the market and is expected to join local builder associations and governing bodies as part of their networking accountabilities representing BMO.

  • Regularly connects work to BMO's purpose, sets inspirational goals, defines clear expected outcomes, and ensures clear accountability for follow through.
  • Creates innovative business development strategies to grow the business in collaboration with other BMO partners.
  • Contributes to the development of marketing and sales materials for new business opportunities.
  • Identifies short
- and long-term value creation opportunities for target customer (builder) segments.

  • Develops, maintains, and executes a business plan to achieve client retention objectives
  • Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group.
  • Influences and negotiates to achieve business objectives.
  • Helps determine business priorities and best sequence for execution of business/group strategy.
  • Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.
  • Ensures alignment between stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to meet business objectives.
  • Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Monitors and tracks performance, and addresses any issues.
  • Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decisionmaking.
  • May consult to or serve on various committees and task forces.
  • Provides input into the planning and implementation of operational programs.
  • Acts as a relationship manager on assigned projects / programs to ensure alignment with overall enterprise and group goals.
  • Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to provide business context in the design, development, and implementation of business development programs and solutions.
  • May network with industry contacts to gather and identify competitive insights and best practices.
  • Identifies enablers and key issues prior to and during implementation of strategic business development initiatives and raises issues with stakeholders to resolve issues or risks that jeopardize delivery.
  • Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprisewide focus.
  • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
  • Works independently and regularly handles nonroutine situations.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Typically between 7 years of relevant experience and postsecondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Solid understanding of the business unit's risk and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of the business unit's transaction fulfillment procedures.
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.
  • Verbal & written communication skills
  • Indepth.
