Parts and Service Advisor - Strathroy, Canada - Bluewater Trailers
Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Receive parts, maintain parts inventory, organize, and label parts
- Schedule any work repairs that are part of a customer or inventory repair
- Arranging for delivery or shipments of any parts
- Scheduling servicing or repair appointments
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customer's problems and provide accurate repair recommendations over the phone
- Assist technicians by looking up parts needed for repairs
- Correctly create sales orders and generate invoices for all parts sold
- Perform weekly, monthly and yearly inventory counts
- Locate available parts when dealership is out of stock
- Answering phone calls and assisting walkin customers with the parts or service needs
- Communicate with other departments as needed
- Assisting with coverage in the warranty department as needed
- Problem Solving Skills

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Skills and/or Experience Required:
- Own vehicle and valid G license
- English proficiency
- Grade 12 equivalency
- 2 years of work experience in a shop or farm environment
- Ability to adapt in a fastpaced environment
- Good physical endurance. (Ability to lift up to 75100lbs)
- Willingness to participate in inhouse training
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment
- Knowledge of trailers
- Excellent customer service skills
- Solid team player
Salary:
$55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

- Strathroy, ON N7G 3H8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- service advisor: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
