Parts and Service Advisor - Strathroy, Canada - Bluewater Trailers

Description

• Receive parts, maintain parts inventory, organize, and label parts
• Schedule any work repairs that are part of a customer or inventory repair
• Arranging for delivery or shipments of any parts
• Scheduling servicing or repair appointments
• Conduct diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customer's problems and provide accurate repair recommendations over the phone
• Assist technicians by looking up parts needed for repairs
• Correctly create sales orders and generate invoices for all parts sold
• Perform weekly, monthly and yearly inventory counts
• Locate available parts when dealership is out of stock
• Answering phone calls and assisting walkin customers with the parts or service needs
• Communicate with other departments as needed
• Assisting with coverage in the warranty department as needed

• Own vehicle and valid G license
• English proficiency
• Grade 12 equivalency
• 2 years of work experience in a shop or farm environment
• Ability to adapt in a fastpaced environment
• Good physical endurance. (Ability to lift up to 75100lbs)
• Willingness to participate in inhouse training
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment
• Knowledge of trailers
• Excellent customer service skills
• Solid team player
