Job Summary
Knox Ave is a wellness-minded health spa and collective located steps from Edmonton's River Valley. We offer a thoughtful blend of therapeutic and relaxation services designed to help our guests slow down, reconnect, and feel Knox good.
We are growing and looking for a Manual Osteopath to join our collaborative team of massage therapists, acupuncturists, aestheticians, and wellness practitioners.
This position is ideal for a practitioner who values gentle, client-centred care and enjoys working in a supportive environment. You will provide manual osteopathic therapy focused on restoring balance, improving mobility, and supporting overall wellness.
Duties
- Provide osteopathic manual therapy Including soft tissue and articular techniques, as well as cranial and visceral approaches, to suport mobility, balance, and overall function.
- Work within the scope of manual osteopathic practice and maintain professional association standards
- Create comprehensive patient assessments, thoughtful treatment plans and maintain accurate charting
- Educate clients on posture, movement, self-care strategies, pain management strategies, and lifestyle modifications
- Collaborate with Knox practitioners for integrated care when appropriate
- Contribute to a warm, welcoming client experience
- Participate in ongoing professional development and stay updated on the latest research in osteopathy
Qualifications
- Diploma in Manual Osteopathy from a recognized program
- Membership in a recognized osteopathic association
- Professional liability insurance
- Strong assessment and hands-on treatment skills
- Compassionate, grounded presence with excellent communication
- Passion for wellness and working within a health spa environment
- Massage therapy education considered a strong asset

- Commission-based independent contractor position
