We are proud to be working in partnership with a high-performing secondary school in Redbridge to appoint an ambitious and passionate Head of History for a one-year maternity cover.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced History teacher or current subject leader who is ready to take the next step in their career and make an immediate impact within a forward-thinking and aspirational school community.
The successful candidate will lead and develop a high-quality, ambitious History curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5,
- Provide strong subject leadership, supporting and inspiring colleagues within the department
- Use data, assessment and research-informed practice to drive progress and raise attainment
- Promote high expectations, inclusion and aspiration for all students
