4-Star Electric is looking for an electrical apprentice. Preference will be given to those who have a focus on customer service and quality of workmanship.


Residential experience is required for 3rd and 4th year apprentices.

Responsibilities_

• Assist journeyman electrician in day to day activities
• Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical components
• Troubleshoot control systems and devices
• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications.
• Install, replace, maintain, and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment
• Splice, join, and connect wire to form circuits
• Tests circuits to ensure integrity and safety
• May perform other related duties as assigned
• Maintain safety standards
• Manage product quality control

Requirements_

• Must have an Electrical Apprenticeship Ticket
• Previous electrical experience in a residential is a must for 3rd and 4th years
• Must have demonstrated ability to work under mínimal supervision
• Clean and safe driving record
• Drug testing and Background check is required
• Positive attitude
• Mechanical aptitude
• Communication skills
• Organizational skills
• This position requires physical labour and the ability to travel within Calgary and its Greater area._

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship


Salary:
$22.80-$30.40 per hour
