Are you looking for a dynamic company to work for? As one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, we are a driven organization that is looking for a team-oriented bi-lingual (English, Mandarin/Cantonese) Assistant Operations Manager.

As a member of our Operations Team, you will support and work with different members of our Ops team to ensure it runs efficiently and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include:

Operations

Provide administrative support to Operation Manager and Supervisors
Participating in the department's overall planning, improvement project, expansion & development, critical decisionmaking
Compose relevant letters, notices and departmental memorandums
Support the coordination of Logistic, including transportation, storage, and distribution of produce
Scheduling maintenance, troubleshooting problems and ensuring that equipment used in the warehouse is in good working order.

Reporting

To collect data and compile reports to support the monitoring of the efficiency and cost structure of Operations
Monitor department budgets in collaboration with the Operations Manager and preparing required reports
Followup with incident reports, ICBC claims & traffic violations

Miscellaneous

Assist with procedures setup and implementation with Operation staff
Purchasing and inventory tracking of Operations equipment & supplies

Qualifications include:

University degree or college diploma
Minimum 3 years ́ experience in Operations management
Experience handling discretionary and confidential information
Proficient business writing abilities, including correspondence and report generation
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Language & communication skills:

Fluency in English and Cantonese and/or Mandarin is considered an asset
