What you'll be doing:

Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment and other IT assets through inventory audits
Ensure accuracy of the IT Asset repository for hardware assets across the organization
Track hardware and software assets as they navigate through the various stages of the asset lifecycle including requests, receiving, deployments, moves/add/changes, break/fix, reclamation, retirement, and disposal
Manage the receipt of hardware including inspection, validation, and shipment tracking
Partner with desktop services and engineering to prep/build/configure laptops, desktops and mobile devices for new hires, break/fix, and upgrades
Ensure stock is maintained with the items needed to keep employees productive
Facilitate the compiling of decommissioned hardware asset data and prepare assets for donations or decommission/destruction in coordination with thirdparty disposal services

- maintenance of vendor's software licensing portals

Monitor overall software license entitlements including current utilization, periodic reconciliation, and software reclamations
Define, review, and maintain the approved hardware and software lists and IT Asset Catalog
Suggest ways to improve processes and solve problems

What you'll need to be successful:

Must Haves:

1/2 year experience in a related field
Strong knowledge of IT Hardware
Good knowledge of ServiceNow
