Ryzuk Geotechnical is currently seeking a Materials Technician for our CCIL certified Laboratory Ryzuk Geotechnical Engineering and Materials Testing is a leading geotechnical engineering firm on Vancouver Island, in high demand for providing innovative geotechnical/materials solutions and quality service. Qualifications:
- Comfortable and familiar with construction sites
- Valid British Columbia drivers license
- High school diploma
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and strong organizational skills
- Able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Good communication and customer service skills
Responsibilities will include:
- Concrete and grout testing
- Breaking and stripping of concrete cylinders
- Miscellaneous lab duties as they arise
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
