SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Under limited supervision, manager the Canadian sales team to sell and market TOA products within defined territories. Responsible for the assisted development of new customers as well as support existing account management.

Responsible for establishment of key and strategic relationships with customers, focusing on the development and execution of business plans to identify the long term, mutual support requirements required to facilitate a strong, profitable and successful partnership with both potential and existing customers.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:


  • Assist sales team to prospect, protect and manage multiple key account base within territory, including sales of Audio/Visual and Intercom products.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and have overall accountability for business growth within entire account base.
  • Support market potential through lead generation, qualification.
  • Business development of current and new opportunities.
  • Initiate sales process by scheduling appointments; making presentations; understanding account requirements.
  • Aid to close sales by building rapport with potential account; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections.
  • Achieve all regional sales operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to overall strategic plan by monitoring competitive products and feedback from market.
  • Timely and accurately complete business activity reports and forecasts.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; "maintaining personal networks"; participating in professional organizations.
  • Forecast national sales and attain quotas.
  • Deliver business value to customers and build on customer relationships, with an understanding of the customers' business and alignment to Audio/Visual and Intercom solutions.
  • Travel frequently with sales team to visit customers and potential customers; to sales meetings in the corporate office; to trade shows.
  • Manage website sales leads and quotation system with corporate office CRM.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and have overall accountability for business growth.
  • Identifying new strategic technology business partners and developing alliances strategies, within Audio/Visual, Security, Life & Safety, and MNS markets.
  • After logically organizing the target market information, share the product requirement specifications to Canadian product development, with the assistance of Japan HQ R&D.
  • Other duties as assigned.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:


Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma.

Experience:


  • Experienced with minimum 5 years in sales team management operating in the Audio/Visual, Security, Life & Safety, or MNS markets.
  • Excellent at building and maintaining relationships internally as well as with partners and prospects.
  • Minimum 35 years of direct selling experience of Security &/or Audio/Visual products.
  • Experience in engaging resources to drive sales.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English. French an asset.
  • Strong understanding of the business and technical challenges of Audio/Visual and Security solutions.
  • Good basic quantitative skills.
  • Ability to organize complex responsibilities and follow through with them.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and CRM programs.
  • Current valid passport for international travel.
  • Driver's license with good driving record. Ability to travel 3050% or as required.
  • Ability to deliver business value to customers and build on customer relationships.
  • Strong technical and business knowledge with complimentary skills to understand the customers' business drivers and align to Audio/Visual & Security solutions.
  • Negotiation skills using a win/win philosophy.
  • Must be an aggressive selfstarter with ability to build executive relationships, articulate entire company product line and business strategies, create demand and close deals.
