General Overview
As you have probably already figured out, communication is a key part of the job. We are looking for individuals who are solution-oriented and always willing to help. Our training will provide you with all the necessary information to respond to student requests.
Tasks:
- Process requests from our members in a positive and enthusiastic manner
- Take responsibility for solving problems and monitoring
- Document customer issues and solutions implemented
Requirements:
- Customer service experience, minimum 1 year
- Mastery of oral and written English
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to adapt rapidly and comfortably process change
- Capacity to handle various situations in a positive and professional manner
- Excellent active listening skills
- Enthusiasm and a positive approach to customer service
- Be a team player
Conditions of Employment:
- Flexible work schedule
- Office located on University of Waterloo campus
- Starting date: ASAP
- Fulltime schedule (30 hours/week, daytime schedule from Monday to Friday)
- Wage: $16 per hour
- Group health and dental insurance after three months when averaging at least 30 hours per week.
Salary:
$16.00 per hour
