    Description

Low Tide Properties is a private real estate investment, development, and management company founded in 2010 and headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.

The company searches for multiple properties in neighborhoods with the intention of owning enough space to have a meaningful impact.

The company currently has over 60 staff supporting over 60 properties encompassing over 2 million square feet of office, industrial, multi-family rental, and retail properties with a focus on the Vancouver and Seattle markets.

As part of internal succession planning and continued growth of the company, an opportunity now exists for an experienced real estate leader to join as Director, Asset Management.

Reporting to the Vice President, Asset Management & Development, the Director will be responsible for strategically managing a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, driving financial performance, and implementing strategic initiatives to achieve our investment objectives.

Low Tide takes a much more hands-on and involved approach to asset management than many other organizations.

The Director, Asset Management will take on a portfolio of assets with broad responsibility for asset strategy, budgeting, leasing, CAPEX, and development feasibility.

Beyond this, the Director is expected to bring creativity, critical and analytical thinking in how properties can be improved and made better for tenants and neighborhoods.

The ideal candidate is a senior real estate professional who blends analytical and financial skills with strong technical expertise, particularly around development, operations, and capital projects.

This experience could have been gained in a 'hands-on' asset management role.

Alternatively, the successful candidate could be in a development, facilities management, building consulting, or property management role and is someone looking to play a more strategic and creative role with an interest in how to improve tenant experience and to drive long-term value in a property.

What makes Low Tide unique is its focus on its tenants and community.

There are many organizations that say this but at Low Tide, this focus is reinforced in the company's operating principles and its willingness to invest in its assets and neighborhoods.

In this growing environment, the Director, Asset Management will have no shortage of opportunities to develop their career, make an impact and help shape a high growth organization seeking to make an impact beyond just real estate.

The compensation range for this position is targeted between $170,000 to $190,000 plus bonus and benefits.
