Credential Financial Strategies Inc. ("CFS") is a wealth management program that specializes in insurance and other financial products and services. In partnership with
Synergy Credit Union, CFS presently has an opening for an Associate Advisor/Coordinator.

Job Overview:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Meeting with clients to review their accounts and identifying opportunities that successfully meets the members needs and planting seeds for future product/services and followups.
Preparing presentations and social media content for advisors
Assisting with the development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategies, and other initiatives designed to improve performance.
Participating in strategic planning meetings, planning events, or other activities to support company goals and objectives.
Assisting in building the relationship with credit union management and staff.
Conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing reports on relevant topics.
Completing activities aligned with legislation and compliance regulations.
Performing other related duties as required.

Requirements:

High school graduate supplemented with postsecondary education in an office careers program.
Minimum two years of experience as an assistant in an office environment dealing with internal and external contacts.
General investment and insurance industry knowledge and awareness of the Canadian Credit Union System is an asset.
Demonstrated skills include: excellent telephone and organizational skills, excellent typing and grammar skills combined with strong interpersonal and verbal communications skills.
Experience with working with all major types of office equipment.
Familiar with personal computers and a full range of knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Customer service orientation
Effective communication and cooperation with all internal employees, Credit Union members and professional contacts.
Teamwork spirit
