- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work site environment:
- Instructing
Tasks:
- Train licenced pilots for additional certification
- Train and prepare pilots for examination
- Conduct inflight tests and monitor functioning of aircraft equipment and systems during flights
- Contact control towers for takeoff clearances, arrival instructions and other information
- Maintain communications with flight dispatchers and weather forecasters and respond to and report inflight emergencies and malfunctions
- Prepare flight evaluation reports

- Transport Canada¿flight instructor rating
- Commercial Pilot Licence rotors
- Airline Pilot Transport Licence rotors
- Private Pilot Licence
- Flight instrument rating
- Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Licence
- Visual Flight Rating
- Multiinstrument Flight Rating
