In this role, you will join the Brampton office reporting to the Vice President of Finance.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

Responsible for Hiring, training and supervising billing staff
In Charge of overseeing the daytoday functions of the Billing team
Monitor Key Performance Indicators
Supervising all phases of the billing cycle including new client intake, project setup, change orders and billing
Providing weekly reporting to the VP of Finance, Sector Lead and Discipline Leads on the status of invoicing and following up where necessary to ensure deadlines are met
Documenting and reviewing billing cycle processes, procedures and internal controls
Resolve adhoc billing issues
Evaluating and improving current procedures to maximize efficiencies
Building internal client relationships and ensuring a high level of client service across the team
Managing revenue and preparing allowance for doubtful accounts
Reviewing monthend reports not limited to Variance, Backlog and WIP reports
Communicating changes to team members and providing training where necessary
Preparing adhoc reports and analyses related to projects and/or financials
Implement written policies and procedures that govern accounting functions
Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes
Conduct routine staff meetings regarding billing planning and implementations
Assist with the implementation of a new billing system (if/when needed);
Develop and utilize system reports and output
Reviewing overhead AP invoices
CPA is not required but is an asset
Other duties as assigned
