We are looking for a Manager, Vehicle Acquisition Dealer & Delivery to join Element Fleet Management.

As the Manager of the Dealer and Delivery Vehicle Acquisition team you will be responsible for creating a culture of empowerment that will enhance the delivery of the highest level of customer service for clients in US and Canada.

Train, motivate, develop, and support team members while fostering an atmosphere of accountability where employees have the autonomy to make decisions that solidify our customer relationships.

A Day in the Life

  • Plans, directs, and manages the workflow of the Vehicle Dealer & Delivery team direct reports); developing, assigning, and planning work schedules to ensure departmental goals and specific budget targets are achieved.
  • Leads the team by encouraging communication, continuous process improvement, decisionmaking, and accountability.
  • Empowers and coaches team members to make confident decisions to grow and strengthen client relationships.
  • Motivate the team by encouraging communication, innovative ideas, decisionmaking and ownership, supporting them in future career goals.
  • Serves as primary internal escalation point for Team Leads, secondary for other team members
  • Responsible for the development, implementation, and management of team and individual Goals & Objectives aligned with those of the organization, recognizing accomplishments and contributions.
  • Consistently manages Balanced Scorecard and Service Cloud metrics and owns achievement of monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); monitoring and managing contractual customer SLAs (Service Level Agreements) for specific process/team/portfolio
  • Partners with key stakeholders within Operations, FPS (Fleet Partnership Solutions), and the Commercial organization to address client issues, concerns, and exceptions.
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities and implements solutions with the goal of achieving a zerodefect culture; partnering with the business where relevant to implement vetted solutions.
  • Collaborates with customers (internal and external) to better understand acquisition strategy as it relates to their acquisition needs, process, and capabilities.
  • Fosters a mindset of partnership across the business that drives customercentricity, responsiveness, and a sense of urgency
  • Identifies and secures talent to maximize team performance; analyzes work volumes and patterns and adjusts staffing to ensure maximum effectiveness

Requirements:


  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in business or related field required or comparable work experience. Some graduate level coursework preferred
  • 35 years relevant operational management experience, preferably in a B2B service environment
  • Strong understanding of the Vehicle Acquisition process
  • Prior people leadership experience including demonstrated success in maximizing individual and team performance to achieve department objectives and positively impacting employee engagement
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing metrics to manage the department, identifying process and technology improvement opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers and business partners
