Description

Term of this contract is set to start: December 10th, 2023 and complete April 30th, 2024 with 1 week holiday over Christmas break.

As follows:

Regular construction hours are Monday to Friday excluding stat holidays.
To coordinate all subtrades and to supervise the completion of the scope of work under each trade to building completion as per schedule.
To maintain a clean work site, and trailers.
To maintain adherence of sub trades to WCB regulations and the clients' work procedures.
To report to Project Manager and Owners in a weekly meeting any deviation from building construction schedule.
To report to Project Manager any deviation to or from a trades contract resulting in an extra or credit to the work.
To organize and supervise the owner's crews that are assigned to help construct this facility.
To arrange for and supervise Engineering inspections as called for in the building specifications.
To supply a working cellular phone to be used during business hours.
To supply a personal vehicle to get back and forth to work and workrelated activities. Fuel and maintenance allowance negotiable.
Personal PPE equipment as per Work Safe BC regulations.
Small tools as required to perform the duties here in described.
To check in all materials on site that are handed over to the owner and ensure no damage before signing off on any deliveries.
To attend meetings as required
This contract can be terminated by either party with written 2week notice.
This contract can be extended by mutual written consent.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans
Experience with budgeting and cost control in construction projects
Strong communication and leadership skills

$50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
