We currently have a requirement for a SAP DMC Junior Consultant

Role Description:

Leverage your manufacturing shop floor experience and software and technical aptitude to grow into a strong SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud MES Consultant.
This is an entrylevel consulting position that will initially play a supporting role and over time will develop into a leading role involving the responsibilities and objectives below.
Main point of contact and advisor to our customers in the field of Industry 4.0 and Digital Manufacturing.
Prepare for, support, and eventually lead SAP DMC (Digital Manufacturing Cloud) Explore/Blueprint workshops.
Advocate for and recommend SAP DMC best practice solutions to effectively meet business requirements, solve existing pain points, and bring tangible business benefits to clients.
Collaborate with consulting and client project teams to establish proposed solution design document based on SAP DMC best practice approaches.
Define and configure integration to S/4 (PP, QM, PM, IM, EWM).
Setup integration to the shop floor level systems and devices (PCo, Production Connector).
Drive and execute endtoend DMC project activities, including configuration, functional specs, knowledge transfer, sprint demos, unit testing, FAT, SAT, training, cutover, and hypercare.

Required Skills and Experience

Must have handson manufacturing shop floor experience in an Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or Continuous Improvement role.
Solid industry experience in discrete or process manufacturing.
Passion for learning new SAP technologies and implementing innovative projects for the benefit of our customers.
Nicetohave handson consulting or implementation experience in the field of MES, Digital Manufacturing, and shop floor connectivity (SCADA / DCS / Historian / LIMS systems).
Excels when working under the pressure of tight project deadlines.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Comfortable with some travel.

Education

University Degree in Engineering or equivalent preferred
SAP certifications are beneficial
Industry certifications are considered an asset
