Role overview


We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to help Carlsberg on our journey to launch a long list of new brands, products, and formats in Canada.

The role will report to the Innovation Manager and will be a part of the marketing team.

With innovation being a key pillar for the growth of our business, our innovation team is critical in bringing our new projects to life.

Starting with collaborating across multiple teams - commercial and operations, to managing multiple projects simultaneously through tight timelines, and guiding our innovations through Carlsberg's gate process - until they are approved, produced and on shelf As an Assistant Innovation Manager
- you will be at the center for some of the biggest decisions we make.

What you'll be doing

  • Work with a crossfunctional team including insights, brand, design, finance, logistics, supply, sales, technical development, external partners and internal stakeholders to bring new innovations to the Canadian market.
  • Focus on project ownership, management, and implementation of the concept following the Carlsberg Innovation Stage Gate Process, including Product development, Business case, financials, approvals, launch and inmarket management/measurement
  • Other responsibilities include: Artwork proofing, Data Management, GANTT Chart development and process tracking.
What we're looking for

  • Post secondary degree or in Business or related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years in marketing or innovation
  • 2 years of project management experience
  • Related experience in packaged goods, beverage goods or beverage alcohol.
  • Concise and effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Keen attention to detail for data inputting and artwork proofing.
  • Intermediate Skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage a wide range of multiple priorities with a drive to stretch and achieve results.
  • Strong financial skills and commercial understanding
  • Ability to work independently a self starter.

Salary:
$23.00-$25.00 per hour
