Stone Edge Marble & Granite Inc.

is a recognized and well-established stone counter top company based out of Mississauga, Ontario and have been in business for over 18 years.

We specialize in custom stone design for residential and commercial projects across the GTA.

We are growing again and we are looking to hire an experienced Stone (Granite & Quartz) Counter Top Installer to join a motivated and hard working team.

Pay will be based on abilities and experience.

Roles and responsibilities:

Installing stone counter tops in people's homes with a helper or being the second man on a crew, working towards making every install great for the customer

- polishing stone
- knowledge in basic stone repair
- stone cutting and shaping
- attention to detail

At least 3 years previous stone installation experience.
Detailed understanding of the tools that are used to install Natural & Engineered Stones

Special attention to detail and craftsmanship of the product. We value Quality over Quantity
Able to navigate and obtain building information from a set of plans/ shop drawings.
Measurement/ Basic Math Skills.

Requirements:

High school diploma
Fluent in English
Punctuality is a MUST, We begin work at 7:00am
Willing to put in a FULL day's work for a FULL day's Pay.
Willing to work LATE occasionally if production schedule requires.
Must have good work ethics, with an emphasis to DETAIL. "Can Do / Will Do" attitude.
Ability to multitask and work in fastpaced environments
Ability to work within a small, dynamic team
Ability to lift at least 100lbs
Previous stone experience required. individual must be familiar with the above requirements and be able to handle fabrication

Salary:
$20.00-$30.00 per hour
