Job Summary:


On-the-road sales representative


If you're passionate about sales and business development, and the food industry appeals to you, if you're looking for a full-time job in St-Léonard, close to highways 40 and 25, this position could be just what you're looking for.

As a sales representative on the road, the person we're looking for will have to carry out the following tasks:

  • Establish relationships with retailers and present our product range;
  • Convert prospects into customers and achieve sales targets;
  • Maintain and develop relationships with our customers and partners;
  • Manage order taking;
  • Provide aftersales followup and support to customers;
  • Propose relevant and innovative solutions to meet customer needs;
  • Perform related tasks according to the skills of the incumbent.
  • At least 2 years B2B sales experience, preferably in the food industry;
  • Experience in sales and business development;
  • Proficiency in Office Suite software (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Attention to detail, rigor, initiative and autonomy;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Highly motivated and resultsoriented;
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to evolve in a rewardbased environment and resistance to discouragement;
  • Ready to make a significant impact on the company's future;
  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written);
  • Valid driving license.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:


Salaries (Salary range)
($50,000 to $75,000 basic) + Commission
Market development and transfer of customer accounts


Travel
Travel within the Greater Montreal area (North and South Shore)
Reimbursement of travel expenses
Must own a car


Experience
Ideally someone with 2 years in food sales
Sales experience in the food industry (ideally fishmonger)
Food service and nutrition
Understanding of the restaurant business

$50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
