Abilities Community Services has an opportunity for a skilled Casual Community Support Worker, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. This is a great opportunity for students or individuals looking for casual work.

Responsibility of the position includes, but is not limited to:

Supporting adults with developmental disabilities
Behaviour Management and Crisis Intervention
Work on goals contained in Person Centred Plans
Take part in planning options for participants
Food and meal preparation
Household chores
Medication administration
Personal care
Any other tasks as outlined in the job description
Must work well in a team environment

Qualifications:

Current First Aid/CPR Level C
Food Safe
A clean criminal reference check
Medical clearance including a recent negative TB test
Non Violent Intervention Training
CSW diploma or relevant work experience
Class 5 drivers license

Compensation:

This is a position in a union environment
Wage will be determined by the number of years/hours that you have worked and will follow the Community Living Services Collective Agreement
Wages range from $ $25.19

$35,992.00-$41,916.00 per year
