Why This Role is Important:
We are currently seeking a Manager in Enterprise Risk Management The main responsibility will be to support the Sr.

Manager of Enterprise Risk in key deliverables including the Enterprise Risk Assessment, Monthly Enterprise Risk Management Committee meetings, develop the banks Risk Appetite, lead the bank's stress testing program and support the business in compiling the annual Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process.


What You'll Do:

  • Review and improve Enterprise Risk Management policy and procedures to define how risks are identified, defined, assessed, handled, controlled, measured, monitored and reported, as well as, ensure meets regulatory requirements, industry standards, addresses unique structure of each business segment, and changing business model
  • Develop and lead Enterprise Risk reporting packages for presentation at the monthly Enterprise Risk Management meeting that ensure consistency in format across all identified risks; sufficiency of data for evaluation purposes; usability of the information for decision making; satisfaction of business need; sufficiency of commentary as to actions being taken to control the risk etc.
  • Handle resolution of all action items and initiatives that result from the Enterprise Risk Management committee meetings
  • Work with Sr. Manager and individual Business Risk owners to develop the specific risk appetites and reporting methodology for each of the banks identified risks
  • Work with the Sr. Manager to manage the PC Bank Stress Testing program
  • Develop stress testing scenarios and document rational for each scenario.
  • Work with the Sr. Manager to enhance the Bank's Treasury Risk Management program
  • Provide independent validation of the Bank's Treasury risk related Risk Appetite metrics
  • Conduct adhoc competitor and market analysis for the Sr. Manager as required

What You Bring:

  • Previous experience in a risk management, relationship management, stress testing and performance management capacity within the financial services industry
  • Previous credit card experience is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize, balance conflicting tasks and manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to make sound business decisions based on quantitative and qualitative information
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic work environment with the ability to prioritize and balance conflicting tasks
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Well developed presentation and interactive skills sufficient to present both factual and conceptual information/ideas
  • Post secondary education (preferably in Business or related field)
