Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Maitre'd is responsible for assisting servers to serve food in accordance with proper food service procedures, with an emphasis on presentation; cleaning and setting up the dining room between meals, washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen as required.

Experience:

Restaurant or Hotel Server experience with POS system.

Education:

Must have a minimum Canadian grade 10 education or equivalent.
Must be able to read, write and comfortably communicate in English.
Must understand oral and written instructions.
Must have the serving it right certificate
Must be able to be trained in the safe handling of food and in proper food service procedures.
Food Safe Level 1 certificate
Serving it Right certificate

Empathy for and understanding of the needs of seniors, their families and their professional service providers.
Good health.
No allergies to cleaning chemicals.
Able to perform physical work, i.e. lifting, bending etc.
Must have a pleasant, cooperative and supportive attitude.
