In continuing our journey of resilience, we are recruiting for Packaging Operators. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with a desire to excel in a manufacturing environment. This is a unique opportunity for confident, detail-oriented individuals, who demonstrate flexibility and the initiative to learn new tasks.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

Successful completion of a Post-Secondary program is required

Certification or Diploma in the following would be an asset: Manufacturing Engineering Technician or Process Control Technician

You have computer skills and a mechanical aptitude

You are willing to learn to operate and troubleshoot highly automated, state-of-the-art machinery

You are a self-starter and have the ability to think outside the box, work hard, and interact well with others

Willingness to work rotating, 8-hour shifts including overnight and weekends

What you'll need

Qualifications

You take pride in the product we produce and are responsible for Quality and Productivity

You follow the Checks and Procedures within the SOPs

You are responsible for Pre-Start, Start-up, Shutdown, Safety / Emergency Shutdown, Changeovers, General Safety

We are all responsible for Cleaning and following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

You ensure adequate Consumable Supply for the all the Machines and Positions with-in the production facility

You perform set-ups, changeovers, monitors performance, troubleshooting and completes minor adjustments/lubrications to ensure peak performance of machines

Ensure all Machines and all Work areas are kept clean, details in specific Machine Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs)
