We're looking for someone who is creative, highly detailed, and enjoys managing project timelines to join our team as the International Sales Specialist.

You will be working closely with International Sales Managers at the Vancouver Convention Centre and industry partners to manage highly customized bidding documents and bidding timelines as we work together to win large conferences for Vancouver.

This will mean collecting information from different stakeholders and customizing our proposals to make them visually and informationally compelling.

We are hiring an International Sales Specialist for a 12 month term

The International Sales Specialist reports to the Senior Sales Manager at the Vancouver Convention Centre. You will participate in bid strategy and pipeline review meetings and document action items. The International Sales Specialist utilizes all available resources to research and write customized bid content.

This role is an integral position within the International sales team at this iconic venue.

Your day to day role will be managing multiple customized bid documents and presentations, maintaining the electronic filing system, creating and updating film shoot events within EBMS (Event Based Management System).

Your knowledge of our key sales points, EBMS and bid documents will ensure success within the department. You consistently identify compelling bid strategies that align with customer's decision-making criteria.

Ideally, you hold a Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing, or other related areas of study.

You have 3+ years' experience in the event industry or marketing agency and you deftly manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

Your writing ability is superb, clear and creative and you have a precise attention to detail. You have been described as someone who knows how to cultivate relationships through positive and professional communication.
