North Island Wildlife Recovery Association has been rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing Vancouver Island wildlife for more than 35 years. We are a non-profit association with a governing Board of Directors, hundreds of active members, a small hard-working staff and a large group of dedicated volunteers.

In addition to caring for animals, we are also committed to educating the public on wildlife and environmental issues.

The Board of Directors at NIWRA in Errington, BC, currently has openings for Directors-at-Large. We are a governing board responsible for the fiscal management and oversight of the organization. A background in business or financial management is an asset but not essential.

Our Board Members:

• Actively participate in the governance of NIWRA
• Commit to a two-year term with the option to renew
• Attend monthly meetings
• Adhere to NIWRA's Code of Conduct for board members
