Overview

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Cashier/Server to join our team. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our restaurant, ensuring smooth transactions at the register while delivering excellent service to every guest. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive dining experience that keeps customers coming back.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately, providing helpful suggestions and upselling when appropriate
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
• Prepare food items according to company standards, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout food preparation areas
• Handle cash transactions accurately, giving correct change and balancing cash drawers at shift end
• Maintain food safety standards by practicing proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures
• Assist with food prep, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely service
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail environments is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated learners eager to grow in the food industry
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing sales data
• Experience with food preparation, food handling, sanitation, or kitchen work is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude toward customers and team members
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.75-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
