    The Opportunity:


    We're looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Lifestyle Options – Schonsee team on a full‑time basis. In this role, you will perform an array of administrative duties to support the Site Manager and Director of Care.

    What you'll do:

    • Create and manage nursing schedules and enter staffing information into the time‑and‑attendance system.
    • Handle departmental payments, paperwork, bank deposits, and resident one‑time charges.
    • Support resident admissions and discharges, and manage billing tasks including reviewing reports and distributing payer statements.
    • Prepare documents, reports, correspondence, and meeting minutes for the management team.
    • Professionally receive and screen calls, emails, and visitors while coordinating meetings related to resident care.
    • Monitor and maintain office and medical supply inventory and place orders as needed.
    • Support our sister property, Chateau at Schonsee Square with administrative needs including but not limited to: showings, billing, resident relations and more.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma and 2–3 years of administrative experience.
    • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
    • Clear criminal record check completed within three months of hire.
    • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and professional communication skills.
    • Post‑secondary education or Unit Clerk experience considered an asset.
