Job Summary:


Reporting functionally to the Lead, Business Admin PDG, and assigned to support the Project Services team, the Project Services Coordinator, provides diverse support and coordination for the project Services team which includes Contracts, Procurement and Project Controls functions in line with the strategic direction for the department.


Responsibilities:


  • Services Departmental Support Accountabilities
  • Provide Executive Administrative support to the Global Director of Project Services.
  • Compile and analyze data; prepares and coordinates reports and communicates findings to management.
  • Assist with headcount management, org chart maintenance, and distribution.
  • Maintain functional information in document management system including Project Procedures and Guidelines.
  • Collect and compile information from various project teams and prepare summary reports as the need arises.
  • Support the administration of project systems and tools as required
  • Set up monthly and quarterly functional meetings, prepare meeting agendas, gather content from various team members in support of meetings, document and follow up on important actions and decisions from functional meetings
  • Complete ad hoc projects as assigned.
  • Perform additional assignments and responsibilities as assumed or requested by the Global Director of Project Services, Functional Managers within the Services team and the Lead, Business Admin.

Qualifications:


  • University/college degree or certification in project management (i.e. business management) from appropriately accredited institution.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer and Visio.
  • Proficient in SharePoint or other document management system.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks based on comparative importance and vitality.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Independent, selfmotivated, able to take the initiative to collaborate closely with other departments and/or external sources.
  • Knowledge of the mining and or construction industry would be considered highly valuable.
