The Canadian Beauty Academy is seeking a
STUDENT FINANCE & BURSARIES ADVISOR. In this position you will play a key role in our student admissions and enrollment process by conducting funding interviews, explaining funding options and completing required documentation that pertain to various funding agencies.


The
STUDENT FINANCE & BURSARIES ADVISOR will also perform needs analysis, provide financing documents, and generate tentative award letters for all new students enrolling into the College's program.


The
STUDENT FINANCE & BURSARIES ADVISOR has strong interpersonal skills, a pleasant telephone voice, and ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines.

Emphasis is placed on quality and compliance in the accurate completion of documentation and reporting as part of the College's Admissions process.


Primary Duties:


  • Conduct interviews with new students within a day of enrollment contract being signed.
  • Diligently followup, and ensure that Notice of Assistance (NoA), Confirmation of Enrollment (CoE) documentation is in place at all times for each student, where applicable.
  • Time bound paperwork, feedback and submission of paperwork to relevant funding agencies like Manitoba Student Aide (MSA), Canada Student Loans (CSL), National Student Loans (NSL)
  • Perform accounts receivable reports and followup for overdue payments and verify results.
  • Process notifications to students who are overdue and follow up on payment plans.
  • Conduct withdraw calculations and paperwork submission
  • Monitor and follow up on the status of all pending student loan documents in order to maintain an accurate accounting of each student's financial aid package through first disbursement.
  • Attend and successfully complete all training for this position.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience working in BFSI sector, or college finance.
  • Postsecondary education is a must.
  • Experience working with online communication tools a must.
  • Excellent telephone skills a must.
  • Will observe and adhere to all Company polices and best practices and comply with related governmental regulations.
  • Must have the ability to effectively organize and establish priorities.
  • Must be clientcentric with excellent communication and problem solving skills.

Salary:
$35,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
