Position:
Field Services Technician - Material Handler
**Location:

• Montreal Quebec Canada, onsite**Experience (Years)
• 1 year of related industry experience with High School Diploma or equivalency

Basic job duties (Principal Accountabilities)

• Receives and controls onsite inventory.
• Performs basic configuration of desktop / notebook equipment following basic instructions.
• Coordinates with Field Service Team for moving and setting up End User equipment.
• Basic installation and maintenance of technical products.
• Follows predefined procedures and tasks in everyday activities.
• Work is regularly reviewed by a more senior level technical specialist.
• Reviews, troubleshoots and approves operational quality desktops, notebooks, printers, and associated peripherals.
• Installs, maintains and optimizes desktop /notebook configurations at customer sites.
• Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems.
• Performs maintenance and repair services.

Skills, Job Competencies, Certifications

• The individual must have proven customer service background.
• Individual will be knowledgeable of Windows Operating System environment.
• Must be able to comprehend and follow verbal and written technical instructions and scripts.

Good verbal and written communication skills are required.

• Physically able to lift and move Enterprise and Client technology hardware in our customer environments.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic customer interaction skills.

Expected start date:

Salary:
$28.00-$30.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• IT support: 2 years (preferred)
• French language: 2 years (required)

- ticketing: 2 years (required)

- installs, maintains and optimizes desktop /notebook: 1 year (required)
