The Solution Development and Portfolio Management team is looking for another gem. Our team is working with the centres of expertise to create and update advisory solutions.

In doing so, we coordinate the work of multiple other teams, such as business development, marketing, operations and IT, to deliver strong and impactful solutions to help Canadian entrepreneurs.


POSITION OVERVIEW
The Advisor is facilitating the various tasks needed to ensure a solution creation or enhancement project goes smoothly.

This person will collaborate with the rest of the team to build and maintain tools and best practices to share with Solution Leads.


They will also play an important role in managing service requests, identifying documentation gaps and managing work sent to externals partners.


CHALLENGES TO BE MET- Act as the solution development lead with the BDC Academy and SMBS (Small & Medium Business Solutions) teams- Analyze Academy and SMBS solution portfolio to identify opportunities to improve solutions and the width of expertise offered- Perform market research to better understand our clients' needs- Identify solution optimization opportunities and propose action plan for them- Help prioritize solution development/enhancement initiatives- Build centre of expertise solution development plans with quarterly reviews- Identify potential value-add activities from corporate stakeholders (i.e.

other COE and business lines) that could be integrated with the Centers of expertise's solutions- Collaborate with Senior Advisors on the team to align solutions and tools throughout the portfolio- Cultivate strong ties with our internal stakeholders (i.e.

Centers of Expertise, Business Development, Marketing, IT, etc.)- Prepare reports, summaries, or presentations as required- Update Advisory Services BDC Zone pages- Coordinate Service Now incoming queue


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR- Bachelor's degree in commerce, business administration or equivalent- 5 years of relevant experience including experience in a consulting services firm- Strong service and client focus- Ability to work efficiently with various inter-functional groups, ability to build and maintain solid relationships- Ability to coordinate several concurrent projects- Ability to work autonomously, pay close attention to details and produce high quality work- Good time management and priority setting skills to meet critical deadlines and client needs- Ability to create tools, prepare documentation, presentations, work plans, etc.

- Exceptional skills in PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite software- Experience using Acrobat Adobe- Openness to learning and incorporating new information and ways of working into Advisory Services- Bilingual in French and English
