Program Manager - Patient Support (12-month contract/ Secondment)

THE POSITION

  • This position will play an integral role in developing, implementing and managing specific patient support programs that enhance patient outcomes, promote medication adherence, and ensure patient satisfaction, while also aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Develop and manage patient support programs that are tailored to meet the unique needs of specific patient populations and aligned with the company's goals and objectives
  • Embed the voice of the customer through the design and implementation of the PSPs by leading market research or consultancy meetings with patients / HCPs
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional partners including Marketing, Chronic Disease Education, Legal, Regulatory, Medical, Patient Access, Sales, etc. to ensure effective program implementation and execution
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure key performance metrics are met
  • Establish program goals and objectives, and develop metrics to measure program success
  • Analyze program performance data to identify areas for improvement and make datadriven decisions
  • Oversight of insourced call center operations including but not limited to: hiring and onboarding contractors, scheduling contractors, training and support of contractors; supporting contractors with technical issues; leading regular Adverse Event reconciliation and audit processes as required
  • Act as main point of contact for inquiries from field (e.g. Sales, Chronic Disease Educators, etc.), including representing Patient Support in new hire training, presentations to field teams, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards and internal SOPs
  • Attend relevant conferences and meetings to stay current with emerging trends and best practices in patient support program management
  • Other duties as assigned

KEY COMPLIANCE

  • Complies with all Canadian external policies (Health Canada, PAAB, BIOTECanada, Innovative Medicines Canada, etc.) and governance.
  • Complies with all Novo Nordisk SOPs, policies, procedures, vision and ways of working.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Certifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g., Business, Health Science, etc.)
  • Considered an asset:
  • Active practicing license in good standing healthcare designation (e.g. RD, RN, NP, RPh, etc.)

Work Experience:


  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience such as: pharmaceutical marketing and/or field experience, training experience in a healthcare environment, PSP management experience, project management experience, clinical experience in Diabetes or Obesity, etc.
