    The Role

    The Senior Communications Consultant will partner with business leaders to develop and implement progressive internal and external communication strategies, plans, and solutions that will enable the achievement of Agricorp's business objectives and assist in driving business results. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Corporate Communications. In this role, you will be responsible to:

  • Lead multiple strategic and tactical communication plans in alignment with business priorities, projects, and government programs.
  • Monitor issues and developments in the external environment and analyze emerging trends in the public, media, government policies, and initiatives that relate to Agricorp, and make recommendations to management
  • Advise and develop effective communications strategies to convey Agricorp messages to our stakeholders and media
  • Consult on aspects of the editorial process, including research, planning, writing, editing, proofreading, translation and approvals, to ensure that all written and published communications (internal and external) are of a high quality
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Consult, facilitate, coach, and support Communications team members.
