We are looking for an Advisor Market Intelligence to join the S&T Low Carbon Development team

Enbridge Gas Inc.'s Pathways to Net Zero study shows that Energy Transition should be achieved via a diversified path - one that balances targeted electrification with re-purposing the current gas pipeline system to deliver low or zero-carbon gases, including renewable natural gas (RNG), hydrogen, and natural gas with carbon capture.

To stay ahead of the market, this role will develop a comprehensive understanding of market participants, the state of the low carbon industry and changing consumer landscape to provide insights and guidance supporting projects and strategic planning.

What You Will Do:

Develop a detailed understanding of key low carbon markets through targeted research, crosscompany sharing of studies/pilots and external learning through webinar type platforms.
Conduct market analysis collecting data and evaluating threats/opportunities with a geographic focus for global, national and regional comparisons.
Using various communication channels, provide insights to support nearterm projects and contribute to longterm goal planning through a focus on industry trends, competitor moves, product differentiation and consumer behaviour.
Excel at strategic writing and presentation development by crafting storylines for external submissions to provide strategic position and internal requests for information.
This position will play a valuable role maintaining and building crossfunctional relationships with consultants, industry publications as well as internal corporate groups.

Who You Are:

You will have the following education and experience:

University degree and up to 4 or more years of directly related industry experience in business development, market research, gas supply or strategic sales.
Proven communication and relationship building skills with the ability to perform independent studies as well as facilitate group brainstorming sessions.
Demonstrated ability to connect dots and figure out right time to transmit information to the right audience.
Understanding of North American natural gas market and Enbridge Gas Inc.'s storage and transportation systems.
Familiarity with low carbon markets including carbon capture & sequestration and hydrogen.
