- A Day In The Life
- Ensure Labour target rates are set and managed
- Communicate with the project team on a daily basis
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal teams, external suppliers and customers
- Identify potential conflicts and negotiate best solutions
- Main point of contact for assigned scope of work
- Take the lead on project kickoffs, hand offs and autopsy meetings with the project team
- Work with Safety, Site Supervisor and Foreman to ensure all Safety measures are in place
- Use our various internal operation programs (such as PIL & PFP)
- Preplan the execution of projects and develop schedule with project team
- Develop schedule of values
- Develop, track and negotiate change orders
- Responsible for time, cost and overall project performance

- We We Are Seeking
- Min. 5+ years' experience within a Project Manager Role in a commercial construction industry, particularly in curtain wall construction
- Education in a civil engineering / building science program or a related educational field
- Knowledge of the curtain wall/glazing industry is considered an asset
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS office package, including MS Project
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to multi task and work in a team environment
