- Assist in design-build and scope development with the customer, providing value engineering.
- Coordinate with the off-site Honeywell design team to ensure alignment of scope development and changes.
- Identify and track engineering / design and revision changes to the baseline agreed scope and the engineering work products.
- Use bilingual abilities and translate as required to ensure alignment of the Honeywell design teams to onsite / customer requirements and documents.
- Provide timely inputs, documents, and guidance to design team to ensure unhindered engineering progress. Ensure adequacy and completeness of documents sent to design team.
- Coordinate, work with other trades/ customers/consultants and escalate as needed to resolve engineering queries and request for information needed.
- Review engineering team generated designs of Fire Alarm/ Security systems to meet quality and customer specified objectives.
- Conduct review meetings between design team, Honeywell subcontractors and consultants / other trades and help resolve queries.
- Initiate actions to initiate changes based on field directed changes.
- Facilitate design and drawings approval from consultants.
- Demonstrate high levels of applications and solutions skills in Fire Alarm /Security / Auxiliary Systems.
- Build professional relationships with internal functional teams, customers, contractors, and consultants to achieve common project goals.
- Have the Technical presentation skills to impress customers with Honeywell Solutions.
- Must be bilingual - French and English proficiency.
- Completion of an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Technology/Technician college program or university degree.
- Valid drives license
- 5+ years of experience in generating solutions and / or engineering and or commissioning of Building Automation Systems / Fire Alarm / Security systems.
- Ability in reading and interpreting design specifications, plans, and related technical documentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface effectively with clients and contractors.
- Ability to collaborate and work with multiple teams and functions within the organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a process driven environment to delivery high quality deliverables.
- Professional industry certifications (P.Eng. CFAA, others).
- Experience in the estimating of engineering hours and in applying technical solutions.
- Possess in addition to expert controls knowledge, the ability to perform engineering on complex jobs including integrated, advanced, and networked solutions.

Primary Role: The Engineering Design Coordinator plays a pivotal, technical, customer facing engineering role to support the delivery of high-quality engineering work products on time and under budget. • Identifier et suivre les modifications apportées à l'ingénierie, à la conception et à la révision du champ d'application convenu et des produits du travail d'ingénierie.
• Utiliser les capacités bilingues et traduire si nécessaire pour assurer l'alignement des équipes de conception de Honeywell sur les exigences et les documents du site/client.
• Fournir en temps utile des informations, des documents et des conseils à l'équipe de conception afin d'assurer une progression sans entrave de l'ingénierie. Veiller à l'adéquation et à l'exhaustivité des documents transmis à l'équipe de conception.
• Coordonner, travailler avec d'autres corps de métier/clients/consultants et faire remonter les informations nécessaires pour résoudre les questions d'ingénierie et les demandes d'information.
• Examiner les conceptions de systèmes d'alarme incendie et de sécurité élaborées par l'équipe d'ingénierie afin de respecter les objectifs de qualité et les objectifs spécifiés par le client.
• Organiser des réunions de révision entre l'équipe de conception, les sous-traitants d'Honeywell, les consultants et les autres corps de métier et contribuer à la résolution des problèmes.
• Entreprendre des actions pour initier des changements sur la base des changements demandés par le terrain.
• Faciliter l'approbation de la conception et des dessins par les consultants.
• Démontrer un haut niveau de compétences en matière d'applications et de solutions dans le domaine des systèmes d'alarme incendie, de sécurité et auxiliaires.
• Établir des relations professionnelles avec les équipes fonctionnelles internes, les clients, les contractants et les consultants afin d'atteindre les objectifs communs du projet.
• Avoir les compétences techniques de présentation pour impressionner les clients avec les solutions Honeywell. Il s'agit d'un outil indispensable :
• Doit être bilingue - maîtrise du français et de l'anglais.
• Diplôme d'études supérieures en technologie/technicien en génie électrique/mécanique ou diplôme universitaire.
• Permis de conduire valide
• 5+ ans d'expérience dans la création de solutions et/ou l'ingénierie et/ou la mise en service de systèmes d'automatisation des bâtiments / systèmes d'alarme incendie / systèmes de sécurité.
• Capacité à lire et à interpréter les spécifications de conception, les plans et la documentation technique connexe.
• Solides compétences interpersonnelles et capacité à interagir efficacement avec les clients et les contractants.
• Capacité à collaborer et à travailler avec plusieurs équipes et fonctions au sein de l'organisation.
• Solides compétences en matière de communication orale et écrite.
• Capacité à travailler dans un environnement axé sur les processus afin de fournir des produits de haute qualité. Nous valorisons :
