Description
Responsibilities:
- Drive company vehicles to transport goods and passengers to various locations
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle
- Ensure the safe and timely transportation of goods and passengers
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip and report any defects to the maintenance department
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
Qualifications:
- Valid G driver's license
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a driver
- Able to drive 5 ton truck
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and safetyconsciousness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule and availability to work overtime when required
Salary:
$17.00-$18.50 per hour
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Simcoe, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 1 Licence (preferred)
