Summary:

104.9 Virgin Radio Edmonton is looking for an energetic Prime Time Weekday Host to join the team in the City of Champions.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver a creative, compelling, local, authentic show Monday to Friday in a highprofile daypart.
Make our listeners and followers feel special every single day
Understand the importance of Social Media and deliver compelling content daily
Ability and desire to get into the community and make a difference, as required
Work with the Promotions team to execute fun and engaging contests/promotions
Work with the Sales team to deliver great results to our community partners
Host weekend remotes
Other duties as assigned.

Critical Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years onair experience with morning show or drive show preferred
Ability to share your life and interact with listeners as if you would with your friends
Social media savvy
Strong ability to navigate technology and operate a board
Knowledge of Vox Pro, Adobe Audition, and Wide Orbit is an asset
Has the ability to look at the ordinary and make it sound extraordinary

Preferred Qualifications:

A passion for the Top 40 Format and trending topics
Curious person who always wants to know more and challenges us all to be better
Has a strong desire to win and grow
